Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) is a fellowship of men and women who have a desire to stop drinking. People who attend AA meetings are all in various stages of recovery. AA follows a 12-step recovery program and does not require you to immediately swear off drinking forever. Instead, you are encouraged to take it one day at a time. People in AA support groups share their experiences with alcohol and how it has affected their lives and families. Attending meetings regularly can help you on your journey to staying sober. Find several meetings in and around Bryan and College Station, Texas where you can receive support.
